The International Tax Disputes Day
The International Tax Disputes Day will explore most recent international tax trends and developments with an emphasis on both the global and Asian landscape. Following two special keynote addresses, the first part of the Conference will be devoted to latest tax treaty and transfer pricing case law. Next, the Conference will move to dispute settlement in tax-related disputes, starting from the current challenges raised by the Mutual Agreement (MAP) framework under tax treaties (including tax treaty arbitration) and then considering Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) under International Investment Agreements (IIAs). The third and final part of the Conference will focus on the global minimum tax and will discuss latest developments regarding its implementation as well as the prevention and resolution if Globe disputes. Chairs of session, speakers and panelists will include senior members of tax authorities, international organizations (such as the OECD), in-house counsels, and leading tax professionals.
